12:44 pm - Crazy time!
|
We have 9 games to end of regular season. All is so busy. So much hard work! But we have one day off. We are in Canada. Vancouver. It is nice city. Marty, Arkhy, Marek, Kimmo, Tommy and me, we go out for day. We see parks and museums and big shopping places. We meet AJ, Sergei, Johnny and Bomber for lunch and eat too much. So we take nap in afternoon. Marty and Arkhy sleep on me and my arm is numb. I push Marty off bed. We wrestle and then we have other kind of fun. Then we have bath and go out for dinner and drinks. We had good time. Jamie brings his guitar and we make him sing. He is very good. I see that Shane watches and listens and likes Jamie. I tell Marty. Marty tells Shane he should go do Jamie. Marty has no shame. But it is OK. This morning Shane and Jamie both look happy. So Marty says he is right. I would hit Marty if I did not love Marty. Denis shakes his head.
Soon we leave for Edmonton. We must beat Edmonton and then Calgary. Then we can go home to Nashville. We try very hard to make playoffs! I hope!

1:01 pm - We win!
|
We win in overtime. This is better than losing. We win 4 of 5 games now. It is good! I did not score but Marty gets goal and assist. He is very happy. Denis and I hug him! Marty is my best friend. I am happy he scores!
Tonight we play in San Jose. We feel good. I hope we win.
Denis thinks Marty and Mark will be together. They are friends but I do not know they will be lovers. Marty say they are careful and be slow. I think this is good plan. Denis wants to push. I tell him no. It is not our choice. Denis wants good only I know. He loves Marty. But he must let Marty and Mark decide.

1:10 pm - We win!
|
We won 3 games in row! This is good! In last game I score goal and assist. Denis score goal and assist. Marty score goal and 2 assists. We had big party! Then I sleep long time. Now we must be ready for road trip. Tomorrow we play in LA.
I had interview with reporter from Tennessean newspaper. It is in paper. I am asked questions. I reply.
What 5 music disks would I want on a deserted island?
1. Anything by U2. I just like their group. I like all of the old songs. I don't know them by name. But I like them.
2. Yourself or Someone Like You, Matchbox Twenty. They are great.
3. Parachutes, Coldplay. I like their style. They're similar to U2.
4. Anything by Elan. It's a Slovakian group, the most popular group in Slovakia. They've been huge for 20 years. They're like a rock group, kinda like, well . . . U2.
5. U2 again. I love those guys.
Who are the three sexiest people alive?
1. Demi Moore. She's now 40 or 41? She looks great. Great body. Great look. Hot.
2. Halle Berry. She's single now. Good for her. Good for me. I think she's the complete woman.
3. Lucy Liu. Yes. I always had a thing for Asian girls.
Five things I can't live without? (I can not tell reporter about Denis. People do not understand men who love men. Denis knows I love him most. So I say other things.)
1. My friends. My best buddy on the team? I spent a lot of time with Marty Erat. And Tomas Vokoun. We're roommates on the road. He's a very good roommate. I wouldn't trade him for anybody.
2. Cell phone. It's so easy. I call my friends, my family and once in a while, ladies, too.
3. Going out. Out to dinner and have a laugh and maybe a few beers, enjoying life. I like to go to the Trace and The Palm and Mario's.
4. My Audi Quattro. It's gray. It's nice, stylish and fast. And that describes myself. (I laugh!)
5. My family. All my relatives are back in Slovakia. (Reporter make mistake and say Latvia. I am Slovak!) Two sisters and a brother are coming to visit. I'll take them to Mario's in my Audi Quattro.

Yesterday I speak to friend. He thinks eat drugs. Drugs are bad! Drogy sú hrozný!!!! Absolútne hrozný!!!!
Môj priateľ, my friend, Andrej, died. He was 16. He took spústa drogy, too much. I always remember. I do not want druhá kamarát, another friend, to die.
Drogy sú hrozný!!!!
I tell Denis. Denis say I am right. Denis say he will tell friend drugs are bad.
Ja som ustarostene!

1:08 pm - Baby!
|
Rem's wife had baby yesterday. Rem is very excited! Kim and baby Joseph are healthy and go home from hospital. Rem has many pictures of Joseph. I think new baby looks funny. He is all wrinkled and red. But he has black hair and blue eyes like Rem. He is very small now. He will grow big and strong like his father.
I am happy for Rem!

Denis wishes to find lover for Marty. Denis and I are together and Marty is alone and this is not good. First, we think Marty likes Adam and this will be right, but Adam is act strange now. I do not know problem. But it is not good for Marty. He needs someone to love him best because Marty is special. Denis now thinks Mark is the one. I tell Denis that Marty must choose not us. Denis says we can help. He plans dinner for Marty and Mark. He tells them it will be four of us but he and I will leave so they are alone. I hope it go well.

10:46 am - We win!
|
We beat Red Wings last night. There were many fights and many penalties. It was crazy game. But we win and that is only important thing.
Denis and I have party after game. Marty, Marek, and Tomas come over. Adam talks to me on computer and I invite him. He says no, he wishes to have more fights with Red Wings. I tell Denis, Marty, Marek and Tomas and they all wish to go fight too. Adam says no, he fight alone. I think it is better we fight together. We are teammates. We must take care of us. But Adam go alone. He says he win fight. He is sore and has black eye but he says Wings look worse. Tomas is not happy he did not get to fight too. I tell you this is Tomas Kloucek not goalie Tomas Vokoun but I think Voks would feel same.
Me - I like sex better than fight. I am only one thinks like this, I think.

Jordin scored first NHL goal. We are all proud. We all hug Jordin. Too bad we lose game. We play very well. It is OK. We are better than last year.
Tomorrow we play Colorado. It will be hard game. It will be good for Jason because Karlis will be here. Karlis will come today. Coach says it is OK that Jason not go to practice. He knows Jason is depressed without Karlis.
Denis is yelling. He wants to eat at Pancake Pantry before practice. I say he will be sick. He is stubborn so I must go. I must stop him from eat too many pancakes.

2:31 pm - Tomorrow is first game!
|
I am excited! Tomorrow we play first game of season. We are at home. That is good. The fans will make much noise for us. Many people come from Jordin's home. He is famous there. He is first Inuit to play in NHL. Now I know that means he is Eskimo, the people who make houses from ice called igloos. He tells many stories. I think he makes big tales but he is fun. He can hit very hard! I like playing with Jordin but not against him. I feel sorry for other teams - well, not really! Is fun to see them get all mad.
More good news is Marty makes team again and will play with us. I love Marty. He is my best friend. That is not count Denis. Denis is my special love. But Denis understand. He love Marty too. We have fun!
Tomorrow we must beat Anaheim. Ducks have good goalie. So do we. I think Tomas is better. I think we will win!

4:44 pm - Very Sad

I am so sorry about Dan Snyder. It is terrible news. I did not know him but I know Dany Heatley and I feel so sad. I wish I could do something but I can only make donation.
Denis talks on phone with Ilya yesterday. Maybe he has helped some. They speak Russian so I do not know but they talk long time. Denis does not say afterwards, only he wants me to hold him. I hold him and kiss him all night.
Now I know we must be careful and not forget important things. Most, we must take care of people we love!

|
Denis and I had a good weekend. We went to Memphis and saw Graceland. It is the home of Elvis and was very cool. Also, we ate lots of BBQ and other southern food. There were many bars with music like in Nashville. We stayed at big hotel in nice room and made love many times. Is good way to work off food. ;D
